OAM specializes in equity, balanced, fixed income, and option-writing programs, utilizing predominately large and mid-capitalization stocks and corporate/government bonds. For clients desiring pre-dominantly no-load mutual funds, the firm offers investment management performing the selection and timing of appropriate mutual fund investment.

The company utilizes long-term fundamental and technical analysis to manage portfolios for clients. OAM is compensated mainly by an annual fee based upon the value of the assets under management. The New York office offers both fee-based and/or commission-based account management.  Oaktree provides clients with informative quarterly reports, including performance statements.
