Steppin' Out Studio of Dance
would like to congratulate their 2005 high school
graduates:
Adrienne Ahee, Homestead High School, Fort Wayne,
Indiana
Adrienne will be attending the University of
Wisconsin in Madison and will be majoring in Biology
with hopes of becoming a pediatrician. Adrienne will
also be a member of the University of Wisconsin-Madison
dance team. Look for Adrienne on TV next year at all of
the Badgers Football and Basketball games and maybe even
on ESPN at the National Dance Team Championships.
Betsy Peoples, Homestead High School, Fort Wayne,
Indiana
Emily Wray, R. Nelson Snider High School, Fort
Wayne, Indiana
Emily will be attending DePaul University in Chicago
Illinois with hopes of pursuing law school in the
future. She will also be studying at the Gus Giordano
Dance Center on a Full Dance Merit Scholarship.
The Giordano Dance Center, founded in 1953 by Gus
Giordano, is one of the foremost professional dance
schools in the country. At the center she will be
training with their exceptional and diverse faculty in
Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Tap, and Hip Hop. Scholarship
students are required to take a minimum of twenty hours
per week and will participate in the New Choreography
Showcase. Within the process of the New Choreography
Showcase, scholarship dancers will be working with many
Giordano faculty and company members, culminating with
three performances in May.
