PetSafe® Radio Fence™ receivers cannot be accidentally set off like other brands. Our receivers use a microprocessor and a coded signal that eliminate false activations and allows a warning consistently based on distance. They are made with a Fail-Safe Feature which ensures that the receiver shuts off after 20 seconds of continuous correction should your pet ever get trapped in the signal field.

We offer three types of receivers that are compatible with our Underground Dog Fences and Indoor Radio Fence™: The Deluxe Ultralight, Ultralight and Stubborn Dog Receivers. These receivers are compatible with all Radio Systems Corporation containment systems including the Radio Fence™ and Pet Guardian Systems.

The Instant Fence™ Wireless Pet Containment System has its own unique receiver. If you need a receiver for the Instant Fence™, be sure to order the Instant Fence™ Receiver, item IF-200M. Which Receiver should you get?

We recommend the Deluxe Ultralight Receiver for any dog or cat that is 5 pounds or over. With five levels of programmable correction, this is our most versatile and advanced receiver. You can increase or decrease the correction to meet your pet's training needs. At level five, the Deluxe Ultralight Receiver is strong enough for the most stubborn dog. The Deluxe Ultralight Receiver also has a low battery indicator light to let you know when to replace the battery.

Less than 1% of dogs need the Stubborn Dog Receiver. If your dog is over 30 pounds and is extremely stubborn or hard to train you may need the Stubborn Dog Receiver. The Stubborn Dog Receiver has five levels of correction, level five is approximately four times stronger than the Ultralight Receiver and a low battery light to let you know when to replace the battery.

If your dog is 5 pounds or over and trains easily, you may want the Ultralight Receiver. The Ultralight has one level of correction and does not have the low battery indicator light.
